Governors Otti, Oyebanji, Mutfwang, Eno, Sani bags One Year Award Alongside Ministers, Tinubu Appointees and Top Brands
Business and Excellence Awards publishers of U50 Magazine, Dapines Global have announced the hosting of the 2024 edition to celebrate some outstanding patriots who have made significant positive impacts in public service and private sector within one year of president Tinubi’s government.
The Coordinator of the event, Mr Simon Tuleh said this 5th edition of the award event will be honoring outstanding state governors, Honorable Ministers, heads of government agencies and leading business brands on performance yardstick of innovation, project implementation, foreign direct investment, human resource development, public relations, Anti-corruption and community development. The five (5) governors that were singled out for this prestigious award are; Chief Abiodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State, Dr Alex Otti of Abia State, Barr Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State, Sen. Uba. Sani of Kaduna State and Pastor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State. For the Ministers Category, Hon Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo emerged Under 50 Minister of the Year, Dr Bosun Tijani as Most Outstanding Under 50 Minister of the Year for Innovation, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate as Most Outstanding Minister for Health Care Development and Investment 2024, Chief Adebayo Adelabu earned the Most Outstanding Minister of the Year for Productivity, and Barr Nyesom Wike dominated ministerial nomination as “Minister of the Year 2024.”
The organizers did not leave out outstanding performance from young vibrant heads of agencies that have shown dexterity, vision, team work, determination, innovation and audacious leadership in the face of harsh economic realities. They include Mr Charles Odii of SMEDAN as Under 50 CEO in Public Service of the Year 2024, Mrs Jane-Egerton Idehen of NIGCOMSAT as Most Outstanding Female CEO in Public Service 2024, Mr Khalil Halilu of NASENI, Mrs Anita Otubu of Universal Energy Facility under United Nations Sustainable Energy For All emerging “Most Outstanding Leader in Renewable Energy 2024” and Dr Zaccheus Adedeji of FIRS making “Most Outstanding Under 50 CEO in Public Service 2024.”
While the private sector has outstanding brands that have proven unwavering commitment to customer friendliness, innovation in technology adoption on unique service models, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, consistent growth and compliance to government policy. Taj Bank emerged “Bank of the Year 2024,” Fursa Foods leading agro-allied brand emerging as “Food Company of the Year,” Norrenberger became “Investment Company of the Year,” Opay Financial Technologies Ltd as “FinTech Company of the Year,” Betro Furniture as “Furniture Company of the Year” and as “Most Outstanding Company of the Year in Hospitality Management.”
Business and Excellence Awards Event in the past 5 years has honored and celebrated many Nigerians in public service and private sector, from Honorable Ministers to heads of agencies/departments of government and leading chief executives.
