Ambassador Elijah Chinezim Onyeagba was one among about 42 ambassadors appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2021 and successfully screened by the National Assembly. The appointment of the youngest non-career ambassadors in the country speaks of the possibilities that portend for young leaders against long seemingly tradition where ambassador were aged and well advanced in age. After 100 days of his resumption to Bujumbura, Burundi, East Africa, Elijah has transformed international relations and elevated Nigeria’s reputation among foreign diplomats. From hosting ambassadors and high commissioner of countries like Netherland, Egypt, France, South Africa, China, Libya and so other African diplomats. Even the Burundian government has expressed great optimism of better Nigeria-Burundi relations. Kudos Igba!
